Administration Manager

Are you a highly organised professional with a knack for governance and a passion for supporting a vibrant school community? Ruawai College is seeking a dedicated and versatile Administration Manager to join our team.

This is a pivotal role within the school, providing essential support to our Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our front office.

As the Administration Manager, you will oversee a broad portfolio of responsibilities, ranging from high-level governance support to digital communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Board of Trustees Secretary: Managing meeting cycles, compliance, governance documentation, and acting as the Returning Officer for board elections.

  • Financial Administration: Handling school accounts and supporting the financial health of the college.

  • Senior Leadership Support: Providing high-level administrative assistance to the Principal and SLT.

  • Compliance & Policy: Ensuring school policies are up-to-date and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Digital Presence: Managing the college website and social media platforms to engage with our community.

  • General Office Management: Overseeing general administrative tasks and providing guidance and support to other administrative staff.

About You:

We are looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. You should have:

  • Strong experience in administration or office management.

  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.

  • Proficiency in financial systems and digital platforms (website/social media).

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive governance matters.

  • Flexibility

Position Details:

  • Status: Permanent, 52-week support staff position.

  • Start Date: 28th January 2026 (or by negotiation).
