Head of Learning Social Science

Located in the beautiful Kaipara ,Northland, we are a friendly, well-resourced, future focused rural College.
We seek an innovative and enthusiastic Head of Learning Social Sciences who is  able to inspire our students with their passion for the subject and embrace technology and culturally responsive pedagogies to deliver effective teaching.
The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership and the ability to develop curriculum within the learning area in ways which will maximise student engagement, learning and achievement. They will be expected to contribute to the co-curricular life of the college, be a NZ registered teacher and have an excellent understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA.  The ability to teach all senior levels is required.
Position commences January 2020.
