Head of Learning Art

We are a friendly, well-resourced, rural College catering for Year 7 to Year 13 located in the beautiful Kaipara, Northland.

We seek an enthusiastic, creative and motivated practitioner who is able to teach Visual Arts through to NCEA Level 3. An ability to embrace technology and culturally responsive pedagogies to deliver effective teaching is essential.

The successful applicant will be student focused and play a leading role in providing inspiring teaching and learning opportunities alongside our innovative curriculum. They will be expected to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school, be a New Zealand registered teacher and have an excellent understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA.

When applying please state other subjects you teach; a strength in Performing Arts is welcomed.

School visits are welcomed. A school house may be available.

Start time is Term 2 2022 or earlier by negotiation.

Head of Learning Te Reo Māori / Te Ao Māori

Our College in the beautiful Kaipara region is looking to employ a permanent, full time Head of Learning Te Reo Māori / Te Ao Māori.

The ability to teach across all Year levels is essential. Experience teaching Ngā Mahi Toi, Kapa Haka and networking with our Māori whānau and community is required.

The applicant we seek should be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to quality teaching and learning. A willingness to make a contribution to the rich co-curricular life of the school is important.
