In Mathematics we interpret, describe, explain, question, analysis, critique, debate, justify, predict to lead to generalizations and solve problems.
The aim of the Mathematics Department is to cultivate a curiosity of mathematics in every student and for each student to become a problem solver. For students to have the ability and inclination to use mathematics effectively – at home, at work and in the community.
“By studying mathematics and statistics, students develop the ability to think creatively, critically, strategically and logically.
