Hospitality at Ruawai College is a subject that is continuing to grow in popularity and is suitable for any student wanting to further their career in the hospitality industry and/or wanting to experience working in a vibrant and exciting classroom.

Hospitality offers students a realistic experience where they can work in a commercial environment and enables them to develop their confidence and team skills while supporting their local community. At the senior level students can practice their cooking and service skills while extending their theory knowledge.

Senior hospitality is taught using Service IQ Industry based Unit Standards and uses real experiences for their assessment tasks.
